Portrait of a Tibetan woman
Released March, 2017
Portrait of a self exiled Tibetan woman who has been living in Leh from decades. Following the Chinese occupation of Tibet a massive population emigrated from Tibet and found a refuge in India, hoping to return one day to their homeland.
In that hope she run a small shop of Tibetan artifacts set on the pavement of the Leh's main market.
Locals told me that she always comes and sets up her shop every single day whether it's 15 degrees or -15 degrees Celsius.
She insisted on me to buy a spoon to open her sale for the day.
